Happy Easter!!!
Well, it's that special time of the year when we over-indulge our chocolate addiction, and teach our children that somehow the candy relates to the gift of our Savior's death and resurrection :) One British tradition that Chris taught our kids this year is baking "Hot Cross Buns." They are a sweet roll with raisins and spices in the middle, and as part of the Easter story we glaze them with a frosted "cross" on the top. I took a couple pics of the occasion to share on our blog. Anyway, we wish you all a happy Easter season, and hope you all find joy in spending time with family and friends. Oh, and don't eat too much candy! :)

They look so good, did you save me one? Don't you love starting new fun traditions? I wish we had more of them.
I woke up this morning and was sad because although i remembered it was Easter I didn't do anything, another reason why motherhood should be farther away than closer. Those rolls look delicious - how fun to have different traditions it makes the holidays that much better. your kids are so big! Cozy's hair is soooo long. and while i'm rambling when i went to your blog and heard the 1st song i thought, i bet Anna would like Ingrid Michaelson. come to find out she has the 2nd and 3rd songs on your blog. beautiful. Happy Easter! Love you and your fam.
That's so funny since Whitney wanted to make those buns this year too. Alas, she didn't :(
Maybe next year!
Ooh, your buns look tasty! Wait a minute...
I am so glad you have a blog! I need more blogging friends!! Your baby is so sweet I can't believe how big she is getting.
Hmmm those rolls are slightly sacrilegious and I am offended to the fullest extent.
