3rd place at the Pine Wood Derby!

Chris was 'that' Dad who took it a little too seriously.  He didn't get to be in scouts in England, so I think he is making up for it now.

Elias said "its the first trophy I've ever had!" He was sure excited.

Proud of our cub scout!

Austinland was awesomeland!

Just might have had the funnest movie night ever! (Okay, besides Twilight opening night). Austinland was a laugh the whole way through! And it always helps to enjoy laughing with great company. We got to have a question and answer with Shannon Hale (the author) as well as the director and that was just as much fun. I also saw Shannon Hale at Costco this last week and she signed three books for me and spent like 10 mins chatting with us. She was so cute with Cozy (fellow red-head and all) and told her she was 10 yrs old when she decided to be a writer. So, yeah, we are like friends now and stuff :)

Utah State Fair

Not the clearest picture but glad I captured it. My dad puts a painting in the fair nearly every year, and this year I was with him when we went to take a look, and it got an 'honorable mention'. He was thrilled. I thought it should take first and I know I am not biased. :) My grandpa also puts his paintings in and he took first in Senior Citizens. He is 95 years old! Amazing to say the least. I also love to see my best friends mom Deb win every year on her beautiful afghan's and quilts. Feel privileged to know so many talented people!

The kids LOVED the fair! Mostly the animals. Grandpa paid for Aurora to ride the pony's and he bought a new bunny for his farm.

My little Princess started Kindergarten!

This is one happy girl who is ready to be 'big'. The night before school started she said "I wonder what my teacher will be wearing" haha! That might tell you a little something about her personality. :)
